Ship or Store Pickup?

If you're ordering from a bookstore site that has a brick-and-mortar location, you may be provided the option of having your item(s) shipped or picking them up in-store. Picking it up in store saves you the cost of shipping and any appropriate shipping taxes while shipping your item(s) can save you time.

How much will it cost to ship my order?

How long will it take to get my order?

Orders placed with individual bookstores usually take 1-2 business days to pick and pack for shipment. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, with the exception of certain holidays. Once the order has been picked and packed, it will be sent via ground, second day or next day delivery. Please check with the individual bookstore(s) for specific policy information and delivery options.

Please keep in mind FedEx does not deliver to P.O. Boxes or on Holidays. If you're in a hurry to get the book, you'll appreciate our expedited shipping options. We offer both second day, and if you really need your order quickly, next-day service.

My order status reads that it is fulfilled, but I have not received my books. Can I check the shipping status of my order, as well?

If you ordered from the efollett.com portal site, your orders are usually shipped to you via FedEx. A tracking number can be found in the order details under the Order History section of your account.

To get there, click the "Your Account" link from efollett.com or the bookstore site to access your account. Log in using your email address and password and click the order history link. You will see a list of your previous orders and the current status of each. Click directly on the order number that we gave you at the time of your purchase to view the details of that order. Click on the tracking number and the tracking system will tell you exactly where your order is en route.

Change your mind or change your major and want to return or exchange it?

If you need to make a return to an individual bookstore, then please check that store's website. Return policies may vary for individual bookstores. Search for School

For returns of item(s) purchased from an efollett.com or bookstore partner website, then please check their website for details. The return policies may vary.

If you need to make a return for items purchase from the efollett.com portal site, then simply follow the instructions shown below:

1. Pack your book securely, so it will arrive back to us in its original condition. Please include the return section and label of the original packing slip initially sent with the order.
2. All items must be returned to us within 2 weeks (that's 10 business days) of your purchase (for summer intensive courses, within 1 week or 5 business days of your purchase) using the return section and label provided with your original packing slip.
3. Please, for your protection, use a traceable shipping service, like FedEx or Insured Parcel Post. If we don't have proof of shipping, we can't refund your money or credit your account.
4. Upon receipt of your return in its original condition (all additional materials must be included...ie, CDs, workbooks, etc.), we will issue you a refund of your purchase price plus tax (shipping charges will not be refunded).

I have an APO/FPO address. How do I fill out the address?

To send your package to an APO/FPO address is easy. When completing your Shipping Address during checkout, please make note of the following:

1. The Country must be "United States";
2. The City must be entered as either "APO" or "FPO";
3. The State must be selected as either "Armed Forces America" "Armed Forces Europe" or "Armed Forces Pacific;"
4. You must enter your Zip code; and
5. Always remember to enter your full name, grade, and PSC or unit number. PLEASE NOTE: All orders going to APO/FPO addresses will be sent via USPS.

I need to send my order to an International PO box address. Can you ship it?

Currently we are NOT able to send orders to International PO box address. Orders with International PO box addresses will be deleted. Please use an alternate address for your SHIP To: address. Please contact a customer service representative with questions.

Shipping Policies

Please note, we ship all orders via FedEsx. Typically, online orders take one to two business days to process PLUS one to two business day to ship. Most shipments will arrive within one to two business days in the Sacramento region. Be sure to select FedEx Ground if your order is to be delivered within the Sacramento area. Selecting either Overnight or 2nd Day shipping WILL NOT expedite the processing of your online order, only the speed with which FedEx delivers it.

Ordering from the efollett.com portal site? Any book ordered from efollett.com and designated for immediate shipment before 2pm CST on a business day (Monday through Friday except certain holidays) will be shipped to you that day. Any orders placed after 2pm CST will be shipped the next business day.

Shipping Rates

PLEASE NOTE: shipping charges are assessed per bookstore vendor. This means that shopping from multiple bookstores, efollett and/or our partner bookstore vendors will have their own charges applied to them.

Shipments to and from Alaska & Hawaii

If your SHIP TO: address and the bookstore vendor(s) you're ordering from are in the same state (e.g. Alaska to Alaska, Hawaii to Hawaii), the applicable shipping rates will be calculated and displayed separately during the checkout process.

If your SHIP TO: address and the bookstore vendor(s) you're ordering from are in different states (e.g., California to Alaska or Hawaii to Illinois), please select "Next Business Day" or "Second Day" as your preferred shipping method. An additional $10.00 will automatically be added to the below shipping charge.

Canada and other International orders?

For orders with international destinations, at time of checkout, no shipping or taxes will be applied. The appropriate shipping charges and applicable taxes will be communicated to you separately for your approval. Once you have provided us with your approval, your order will be processed. Please allow for additional time to complete the order.
