Things to Remember
E-mail Process:
- Everyone who had pre-ordered gets one e-mail the first time the button is clicked. This e-mail (see page 9 for example) will include a link to the students shopping cart.
- After the first e-mail, subsequent e-mails are only sent to the customers who did not make a purchase from the term to which they pre-ordered. Thus, even if only one book is purchased from a pre-order of five books, no additional e-mails would be sent since one book from the shopping cart was bought.
E-mail Frequency
- Once the Send Pre-Order Notification is clicked it is disabled for the remainder of the day
- The button disappears immediately and returns again each calendar day at 12:00 a.m. This allows you to avoid sending multiple e-mails in one day and to prevent spamming.
- Please be conscience of frequency of the e-mails sent to customers
